Norway's northernmost plateau, 300–500 m above sea level, between Karasjok and Kautokeino. Long days on skis, cold nights, reindeer country. A proper introduction to plateau travel in the Arctic.

VIDDA m POLARJENTER

Vintereventyr og jentetur! Her skal vi gi deg to opplevelser i en tur. Både en ordentlig vinterekspedisjon vår nordligste arktiske vidde. Teltovernatting i vinternatten, og herlige dager på ski fremfor pulken. Men vi har også valgt å sette et ekstra polarjenter-preg på opplevelsen!

HARDANGERVIDDA

Europe's largest mountain plateau and a real fether in your cap. Nansen, Shackleton and Amundsen trained here before going south, and the terrain and distances will test you the same way. A classic.​

POLAR TRAINING — FINSE

Four days at our home base in the Hardanger high country. The Cool-School of polar travel, sled work, tent routines, navigation, ski technique, and the questions you didn't know you had. The bare minimum before Greenland.​

SVARTISEN GLACIER

Norway's second-largest icecap, just above the Arctic Circle in Nordland. Crevasses, real glacier travel, and a route from inland ice to the sea. Short, but not soft.​

GLACIER & AVALANCHE

Four days of technical safety training in the Norwegian high mountains at Finse, run with our friends at Fjellboms. Crevasse rescue, avalanche terrain, snow bridges, transceiver drills. Be better. Be safer.​
